need crooked scanner help

Hi all, I've got a canon mp650 all in one. It prints square, but scanning docs to pdf they go out of alignment. Is there anything I can do? (other than send in a crooked resume)

I'm sorry I've got no idea how to fix your scanner, but why are you scanning to pdf? As an alternate solution can you print it to pdf? Printing to pdf will improve the quality by a thousand and make your resume look much more slick.

There are a number of free pdf printer drivers around. At home I use 'doPDF' but I think a quick google would find a dozen.

I can print my resume to pdf but the other attachments I need to scan.
I've just about got a strip of masking tape "square" that should allow me to get it done. Just a pain in the arse. I'm hoping for a "turn this adjusting screw" response.

aaah crap. After all that effort of scanning in straight, it comes out at 9.5meg and the upload limit is 3. Bastard.
