Hello,
If i have an October 55 Oval bug sitting on a early 70's IRS pan what carpet and rubber kit do i need... a 52-55 or the std. 70's one?

Not 100% sure, but I would have thought you would need 70's carpet for the floor pan and 50's carpet for the foot well and door sill areas.

The 56 year model carpet kit with the early position for the front heater outlets. (Outlets moved back in Dec 56)

56 carpet kit would work, providing it doesn't already have the gearshift and handbrake holes in it (they're further back on the tunnel on a 70 pan)
