[FS - QLD] '71 Type 3 Square Automatic

Details: Reluctant sale - I need the money for my Kombi ASAP, and the mortgage plus lack of undercover storage means I cant restore 2 cars at the same
time  .
I bought this car a few years ago for more than the asking price, did the work I needed for a RWC and it's been a daily driver ever since.
It's been painted in metallic blue, has Jellybean mags and fat rear tyres (see photo). It's a freaky, sexy little beast that's escaped from a
1970's cartoon.
The paint and rust work that had been done have since shown to be less than professional. The top coat on the metallic is peeling (could be buffed
back), and the tiny rust bubbles on the rear roof section and front panels have now blossomed in the humidity of Mount Tamborine (still doable as a
project tho').
The stock 1600 engine needs a tune, but does the job (started the engine after 6 weeks of flooding rains and it kicked over first go).
Come and have a look if you're interested in a pretty complete project needing a little body work. I have some parts for it too including a spare
bonnet (not needed).
If I had the time and cash, I'd sink some money into this and make a profit. Bummer for me - great for you!
