Gunnedah's Drags 19 & 20 March Week of Speed Festival
Hi Everyone,
Time to get the Veedubs to the track.  & beat some V8s
here are the vw trophies , Thanks to Rose.
Our first race date for 2011 is 19 & 20 March 2011 - working in with Gunnedah's Week of Speed Festival.
Attached is our flyer and Competitor Info and also a list of our proposed dates for rest of 2011 so you can stick them on your fridge and plan
ahead.

same as last year
I'll shout any vw entant that turns up a muffin & coffee at maccas Sun morning
I will get the Two trophy for the winning vw competitors
Tamworth Drag Association runs the Gunnedah Drags. That run over two days Sat & Sun and there are some cheap motel in town as well as a caravan
park.
I think you can also sleep outside the track in the car park area you would just have to ask them.
We would be racing amongst all the other cars as they normally only have 3 classes eg. Bikes, cars & junior dragsters
Then on Sun after 3 runs the cars get put into 4 time categories for the finals. It’s worked out on times. Then its knock out on dial ins.
all races count for the quickest vw time .
so if your first run on the Saturday morning is the quickest over the weekend you ll be number 1 vw and still have a chance to take out the event win
in the Sunday finals as well
Heaps of fun with a relaxed atmosphere.

some pics of the weekend. All the vw's that went had a great weekend and no breakages which was good
They loved the buggy's and where surprised how well they went.
Mick took out our fastes volkswagen trophy for the weekend with a 9.1sec pass
Mick also took out runner up in class c for the weekend
