WTB QLD: type1 swing axles, tubes & drums & low back beetle seats

Hi guys, Im chasing a pair of swing axles, tubes and drums for a type 1 and a pair of low back seats in any condition for a type 1 also.

Has to be around south-east queensland, I am on the Sunshine Coast so will travel a couple hours to pick up. Lets hear what u got folks :)

And an aus vw fuel cap would also be desirable too.

Long or short axle and wide 5 or 4 stud , and what year seats , as the runners are different from early 60's to late 60's and different again in some seventy's

Peanut we have a couple of early seats if you want to come and take a look. We're in Tinbeerwah (between Tewantin and Cooroy).

Sorry guys, you'll have to excuse my lack of knowledge of vw's, this world is fairly foreign to me at this point and I only have a vague knowledge but I am trying to learn.

These parts will be for my country buggy so it is around '68, I am trying to eliminate the type 3 reduction hubs from the back as I won't be doing any off roading and will be sticking to the highway.
As for the seats ill get measurements between the rails to see exactly what I need.

Peanut ,

The more i think about this , i think you'dd be better of trying to find some genuine CB seats as beetle ones will look rather weird and the springy base of the Beetle seats won't be very suited to the CB's suspension .

I think CB seats will be a bit hard to find so I was going to mod beetle seats to make them look more like CB seats and I will be changing the suspension on the CB anyways.
