Handbrake lever removal


Just wanting some advice/help removing hand brake lever from my 67 bug.
Do you just removue the cable nuts and then the circlip and pin to remove or is there more involved?

That's pretty much it. Also make sure that you don't press the button down on the handbrake as you're taking it out, as it will release the ratchet plate and it could fall into the tunnel. The ratchet plate engages by sliding forwards, so once your pin is out you have to remove the handbrake lever in a rearwards direction. It's really quite quick and easy.
