Bench Testing Wiper Motors. Help please.
Hi Guys.
It's been quite a while since i have been on this forum.
Good to be back.
I Have a question regarding my wiper assembly. It was always a standard 6V motor, Single speed. It died a while ago and i have'nt really bothered to
do much about it as RAIN X does a better job but for the sake of legalitys i have purchased 2 nice new modern style wipers which went on nice enough,
and a 12V armature to insert in a 6v motor.
I have 3 motors here. They are all slightly different but look basically the same from the outside. they are all single speed.
I have put the armature in one of the motors but am having no luck with wiring. Perhaps its dead?
Can someone help me with a nice easy wiring diagram?
I can connect 54D 31 and 54 to their correspondants on the switch and connect 54 at the switch to power.
The motor and switch have no Earth connectors, Do they earth through the car when they are bolted up?
Is there an easy way to bench test a motor without the switch just to see if i can get a working one?

all three of my motors have 3 terminals not 4 (earth) like this motor. Was this a USA thing?
