wtd one peice glass for a 54
Hi All,
I am chasing one piece glass for my 54.
I sold some replacement panels to someone in WA to take his one piece back to vent windows. Think his name started with a S and he is a member on
here. If anyone knows who I am talking about please let me know.

Does anyone know if the mechanism would be different? Could I just use my 54 Mechs, take out the quarter window and run plexan 1 piece windows? i was
thinking of doing the little cutout like the standard split 1 piece windows?

I found the one pieca glass windows.
You will not be able to use your 54 winders.
Funny I am still trying to reverse what the PO did and you want to do it to yours well each to their own .
Anyway the glass is here you can have it if you like.
The window winders that the PO made for the car were any later style winder mechs but he cut the ends of and then rewelded them on shorter and on an
almost right angle facing up.
Unfortunatly I cut them apart and rewelded them together straight trying to put everything back to stock.
Also you will need to cut out the metal bit that holds the 1/4 window in place (that was the oiece you send to me all that time ago but it needs
welding in so I have been waiting for the next paint job...)
How about we just swap doors....
