replacing a floor pan


Hi All,
i have a 1965 beetle and the right hand floor pan needs replacing, has anyone done it before? i am going to get a professional to weld it, is it easier for me to take the body off or not? and how much work is involved in doing it all? cheers adam

its much easier to remove the body allows u to swing a CAT as such

better off not burning too much with the body on better welding access
