17 mm allan key for $8.80!
I was at my local discount tool place today and they had a box there of 17 mm allan keys (for undoing oil plugs and its pivot bolts) not a common tool
I thought as someone earlier said they had trouble finding one. I had made one myself out of a 17 mm bolt and a piece of steel but for $8.80
I'll get the real mckoy.
Is this cheap or is that the normal price?

Got mine through autopro and had to order it in, cost me $14. So $8.80 sounds pretty good to me. :thumb

that's what I thought you'd have to put a fair bit of force to break it or bugger the face on it so I didnt think that i'd need a
sidchrome one

mmm no
If you buy crap you get crap. With your 17mm allen key I do not think it will brake. I do think the corners will round and the shaft will bend though.
Some of those bolts are bloody tight.
Tell you what, buy one and try removing some pivot box bolts.

I did buy one and undid the pivot bolts on my superbug rear cut.
they didnt seem real tight so maybe it wasnt a real good test of it but for undoing oil plugs and the like and the ocassional pivot bolt it seems
alright
