Wolfsburg Crest

Hi de ho,

Thinking of putting a Wolfsburg Crest on my '67 Beetle bonnet, and was wondering if all I need do is get an older years bonnet strip - oh and badge too of course.

Will this fit?
Does it use the same holes?
If so, what year should I get?
Am I mad for wanting to do this?
What are next weeks lotto numbers?

Any advice would be appreciated.

the old crests are really nice. they finished in 1962 so you'll need the front strip of a 62 or earlier. You also need the alloy base that the badge sits in and this holder has a lip which matches the strip. the early strips were alloy while the later ones were stainless steel, I think??? so it could look a bit different to your other strips/mouldings.

not sure how you'll go with the fit and you might need to make some holes for the alloy holder and badge but you should be able to make it fit.

It'll look good - do it.

Hey there lou0060

Thanks for reply, it's appreciated.

I think I'll give it a go, and I agree - it should look great.
