who can help .Ihave a 1971 super bug and am have some electrical problems.firstly when igntion is turned on the indicator light in middle of speedo
has a dull glow.when hazzard light are operated the light works as normal .also when indicators are used light works fine.Also i have no generator
warning lightor oil warning light when ignition is switched on have checked that correct wires are hooked up.what am i missing .car has new voltage
reg and i have changed hazzard switch.any help would be appreciated .

Take it to a good auto electrician mate! Their services are worth it, and can be far cheaper than you would think. I've fixed a few electrical issues
and usually think that I understand it fairly well, but whenever I get stuck, my local auto sparky will fix most issues like this for me with no
hassle for under $200. Doesn't have to be a VW specialist or anything as they are extremely simple in electrical terms.
vw wiring is very simple, just colour match and patiently follow. If u don't know whether a wire at the back is from a wire at the front, you can buy
a cheap multimeter for $20 at dick smith and test continuity. that $200 could be 4 cases of grog!
