hey does anyone know if a rear bench seat out of the back of a 67 spilt screen kombi will fit in a type 2 1977 model baywindow?

yes it will fit, but you may need to modify the mounts, does the bay have seatbelts? the split might not have needed them but the bay definitly will!

if it is a genuine 1967 seat then the middle leg will be different to the bay one ( to clear heater outlet). Better off selling the seat to a splitty
owner and buying a bay seat. split seats command a higher price that bay seats, so you should have enough to by new seat belts as well.
Customer service is not dead in Australia.
