Kadron carbs

Hi, is there anyone out there running kadrons, but not using the stock linkage? I have seen a berg kit. is there a better alternative to the stock linkage?

I use the CSP linkage on webers, and it's a quality product. I'd never go back to crossbar linkage.

I haven't used it on Kadrons but I imagine it'd be just as good as the weber version.

Scat linkage is good value for money and works well. I have heard since having a car with kads that an excellnt setup is to just upgrade the stock ends that click on to the carbs with units from a 70's merc etc from the wreckers. I think the stuff that came with CIS injection. They clip on really strong apparently and the stock linkage is fine after that.

The ends pop easily apparently - the ball clip??

I have never had a problem - but that is because I have only ever run Webers and Dells

Mine used to pop off occasionly (usually on a rough road), but a few years ago, Peter Richards got me a different retaining clip (a lot stronger), and I haven't had a problem since.

my linkage has been modified at some stage, ( before i bought them), and makes setup of them very hard to get right. have used the stock linkage on previous sets without issues.
does anyone sell the csp linkage here in Australia?

Dont believe so

Vollks has some CSP stuff and pretty sure VVDS does some as well
Mainly shifters though

The way the $$ is you might be better off just buying off them

Vee dub parts unlimted have them
