Idle air control valve dramas
Hi all, bin a while since I've been on here. EJ25 DOHC OBD1 motor.
Having a few dramas with my IACV. It is working, but the engine is idling very rough and the check engine light is on. It also told me I have a drama
with the MAF sensor, but cleaned that out the other night so I don't think that's it.
I've blown the valve out with carb cleaner and pulled the stepper control off the top, but it all looked good inside. It's moving well enough, but
something isn't right.
Anything else I should check?

My ej22 IACV was disfunctional when cold but once warm was ok. I had it apart and noticed "very slight" sticking in the
bearing, flushed and oiled and all was well.

Here's the link over to the IAC thread on NASIOC, definitely worth reading.
