Here's where we are at now... long block is complete, got some new wheels for the back, got all my new tyres mounted, picked up some fans for my
cooling system today. One of the guys in the states is using these exact fans with good results.

Are those boat bilge fans ? If so I used some many years ago and they worked great, The best part was they moved alot of air with VERY low amp draw.

I have spoken to some of you but for those who are interested we are unsure if the car will be ready for Warwick, between work, family and life I'm
struggling to find enough time to get the car finished... I have most of the parts I need though. We are still working on it every chance I get but it
might not be enough... Well wait and see I guess. Here's a few things we've been up to though.
I modified my head tin to take the ducting from the bildge blower fans
I got all my fuel lines and fittings... Even though I got them cheap it still hurt!
I made up an alternator mount and Dave knocked up the oil filler.

I bought a new battery and made a tray to mount it outside the drivers compartment so I don't have to put it in a box.... It's a dry cell 500cca
motorcycle battery. It's about 1/2 the size of a normal battery and a heap lighter.
We started making up the intake manifold last night and finished cutting the end pieces up ready for welding tonight. These will bolt on top of Ida
manifolds. Dave is learning how to tig ally but it's not quite as easy as steel so alot if practice is needed before these will get welded.

Thanks guys...
I got some stuff from bunnings and mocked up the cooling system today at home... It consists of a rubber coupler/reducer thing off a toilet, a length
of pool skimmer hose and some stainless hose clamps from the plumbing section! seems to work ok.

Regardless of the fact that we still probably won't make Warwick, I hasn't stopped us trying! We go a heap done over the weekend. Dave pretty much
spent the whole weekend welding.... Intake is all tigged up, holley is mounted, fuel system is in place, dump pipe and screamer done... And this is
what it looked like yesterday.
