number plates

Do you need to display number plates on both the front and rear or can you get away with one on the rear only ?

wonderful !!!!

I found this:

By law, your number plates must be legible and easy to see from the front and back of your vehicle (excepting motorbikes and trailers — rear plate only).

So it turns out I can be speeding down the same stretch of road at the same time and speed as a motorbike and I'm the only one that will get fined.

Well isn't that nice.

PS "I don't condone speeding"
