Original 73 Superbug S colours?

Hi, choosing a colour for my 73 superbug s, but want to stick to original colours. At the moment, she is radar red, but i am thinking a light blue colour. Can anyone give me a link to an australian site with original paint colours on it? or does anyone have knowlegde on what were the original colours?
Thanks

Hi

Is your car a flatscreen ( 71 & 72) or curved screen (73-75) super?

clubvw.org.au used to have them, but they were takene down while a makeover is being done.

From the clubvw.org.au site,

for a 72 model

Antarctica White
Avocado Green
Gemini Blue
Honey Brown
Mustard
Radar Red
Regatta Blue
Wattle

for a 73 model

Antarctica White
Flipper Blue
Grasshopper Green
Kalahari Tan
Mustard
Radar Red
Regatta Blue
Wattle

I questioned whether it was a 73 because my windscreen is flat and has a body coloured metal dash. I've come to the conclusion that is must be early 73 before they released the curved windscreen/black vinyl dash type.
Thanks heaps !!!

Steve I think Regatta blue was dropped early 73 for flipper blue, my flpper blue Lbug was 4/73

Regatta blue was a common colour for 70-72, it's pale blue same as flipper blue.

If the dash is painted its before late 72
My 12/72 Sbug had a padded dash and so did another flat screen 72 Sbug I've seen on ebay recently.

The build date month and year will be on the compliance plate in the boot.

Thanks Joel, I just checked.. its 11/72! oops! My rego papers say 1973, and i've got the original purchase receipt and it was purchased in Feb 73. Does this matter in terms of the rego/insurance?

It would have been sold as a 73 model.
Mines the same its dated 9/74 but is listed as a 75 and was bought new Jan 75

It took a while for them to get from the factory to sold at the dealership.
