74 Standard Bug Compliance Plate
Looked at a 74 Standard (1300) Bug today. On the way home I thought I didn't see a compliance plate.
Would it have been in the boot next to the locking mechanism or would it have been behind the spare tyre.
If it doesn't have one, does it matter ???

It "may" be a hassle but shouldnt
Mine doesnt have one
When I went to register it in NSW (was ACT) they wanted me to get a VIUU(??) inspection, because I didnt have 2 years continuous registration in
NSW
When I went to book it in they said "what for?? Its just a VW" and told me to go away
So yes it should have it next to the locking mechanism.
Is there holes there??
Dont loose sleep if it doesnt though
Futue te ipsum!!!

I don't remembeer seeing any holes drilled there. I only looked next to the locking mechanism. If I go back for a second look I'll feel around...
