HELP - guide to removing bug door window and quarter panel
hi,
not sure if I posted in the correct place, sorry if I didnt. I am sure somene will move it.
Need to replace the inner and outer scrapers on my 71 super bug.
Can someone give me a guide on how to do this.
have already removed the base bolts that holds the glass arm in place and the the felt runner at the top of the window frame, and the screw that
removes the quarter panel window. Cant get the quarter panel vertical chrome part out, it comes up to a certain point and gets stuck!.
Also is the window suppose to slip down so I can leave it there whilst changing the scrapers or does it come out, up through the window cavity.?
Do I need to remove or unscrew the window winder mechinism also?
Any guides would be helpful please, some visual pics would be even better.
