You gotta get those back wheels straighter Barry.... You have the same problem as I.... Too much rear camber.... Your car is a swinger right?.... The
axles dont like it and your contact patch is not at optimum.... But appart from that minor detail, the car 'looks the dogs' and has a lovely
note.... When you get a handle on that tune, it's really gonna sing!

Good to hear.... LM2 is bigtime gear.... The DB series stuff is more than man enough IMO.... But the built in datalogging feature is an attractive
one.

Hi Barry, just spotted your Heathcote footage, man dose that track bring back some memorys some good n one bad.
Your car looks good, you'll get there it takes time, tune, gearbox, suspention n you everything has to work together.
You should get your Big End bearings today.

Daves prompted me to write a quick update following yesterdays runs at Marsh Rodders Drag Day.
I was the sole vw there on the day,
Run 1. missed second gear & tried to hit reverse, selected 4th before I found second, I then nailed it, chasing down a tri chevy, couldn't quite
catch him.
1.7 60foot, 15.3sec @ 117.68mph
Run 2. again another missed gear, just once this time, up against a street rod, he didn't beat me,
1.7 60foot, 13.68 @ 121.82mph
Run 3. No missed gears this time, up against another 12 second rod, he only saw the back of my car,
1.58 60foot, 11.84 @ 126.80mph.
This is the first time its come together, was a great day, just the 3 runs.
Big thanks to Mr. David Butler on this & also to Ron Lummus who's been keeping half an eye on things also.
May come up to Warwick after all!
