12v Flywheel - 6v Gearboox?


Hi guys,

I was wondering if you can fit a 12v flywheel in a 6v gearbox on a 66 beetle? (if that makes sense)

yep with a bit of clearancing of the 6v bell housing it will fit ok

you'll need a 12v starter too as the pinion gear has different number of teeth.

u need a adaptor bush for the starter as the OD on 12 and 6 bushes are different

U need a 6V od and a 12V id bush which are available
