SEAT COVERS :)

Hi,

I just got my brand new Volkswagen Tiguan (2011, diesel). I have been looking into custom seat covers so it always stays new. I came across Cal Trend, an american company that makes what seems to be great quality custom seat covers. Then I realised americans obviously drive on the other side of the road and their seat covers will not fit my car. Does anyone know where I could purchase seat covers made to fit my car? Something similar to that of the brand that Cal Trend make? Would be really helpful.

Thankyou,

NEW LOVER OF MY VOLKSWAGEN

I am not sure where you are but we bought some really good sheepskins from Aries in East Brisbane. They could probably do a custom job to what you want as well. I know I had to have them made to suit the air bags that are in the side of the front seats in our beetle so they could still deploy if needed so if the Tiguan is the same set up, you will need to consider that too.

Second that Yogie, I had sheepskin covers made for the car before the one I have now, I couldn't get over how they were cool in summer and warm in winter, not sure how they would go if the seats were heated though.

The heat still filters through, it just takes a little longer.
