Fabricating Rear Seat for a VW Beetle Karmann Convertible
I'm told there's a 'Auto Interiors' guy in Brisbane who can do this type of work. Anybody know of him?

Hi Steve
It's a 1970 Standard. Not sure whether the 61 was the same set up or whether it changed in the interim - do you have a photo? The front edge (i.e.
the edge under the backseat passenger's knee!) of the seat base is approx 124cm. The problem is the depth (front to back) as the seat frame catches
on the cross member separating the battery compartment and foot well.

I think the 61 measurements would only be good up to 67, 68-71 would be different. I'll get some measurements of my one for you though. From what I
remember I think the seat base is a wooden frame anyway, so fabrication should be easier.
