1959 tail lights
hi i need sowm advice i have a 59 beetle with semiphores that dont work.the tail lights are only for brakes i take it
my question is how would i go about putting indicators on the back of the beetle and is there a tail light you can buy that has indicator,brake .tail
maybe off younger model

You can fit 1962-1967 tail lamp assemblies at the rear
cheap and easy to find...
front - You can fit the top of guard lamps OR
You can fit round motor cycle type lamps on Your bumpers front and rear many VW parts shops sell these cheap too

A quick search for 'Hot rod bullet indicators' will give you heaps of ideas and places you can buy sets from.

Please for the love of god don't change the tail lights, consider buying a later model beetle before doing that!
My 1960 deluxe had the small snowflake tail lights, no way I would have changed them for the world, love the smaller tail lights. Hop on eBay and
search Harley bullet indicators, they are what you need to get. Whip up a couple of brackets, mount them to inside your bumper, and wire away. More
classic and classy!

Have a serious look at bullet indicators used on harleys and hot rods! i have got bullet indicators at the rear on top of tail lights and have a
small rectanguler type inserted in heads lights at front in my 58!
i would put photos up but still getting used to this and honestly wouldnt know how
Ay Dad! can you move the kombi? i need to move the 58 beetle so we can get the baja out off shed and get 69 beetle in
