i am new to this country and did not know that wpvw was aprofessional.
i thought they were just a mechanic not performance seeing as they are haveing so many blowups with the orange beetle.
i think it would be shame to waste somany expensive parts.

reading the other posts mike from cbb looks like he does a top job but i dont know him just what i read
sorry if i have upset you and keep up the good work

Ven you really do need to think about things before you post things . I did not put this post up to be a battle of builders . It is mearly showing everyone else what i am building and how i am going about it . Some people will think I am doing things a bit strange or not the way they would do it but this is my first build with a limited budget and i welcome constructive critisizm or advice . the VW scene is not that large, most of us know of each other, if not peronally at least by name .I take my hat of to anyone who puts together a car . whether it be a mechanic or a bloke (or lady) in his garage or back shed. Maybe you should do some research before you say negative things about not only my best friend but someone who is always developing cars for both strip and track and is well known as one of the leading Vw people in the country .Iin this course of development there will be "expensive parts broken" if by chance you have a car that is of the standard of the top five vws in the country please start a post and show us all a car that does not break parts

the new rear tyres are fitted to the rear rims and the body is welded back on after the cage welding is completed
I then manufacture templates for the rear internal panelling that will be manufactured from 1.6mm aluminum
