Wayne and i spent many hours on gearing programs and waynes personal knowledge before deciding on the whole gearbox & drivetrain package.It is not that I am keeping secrets but out of respect to wayne as a close friend, sponsor, and for his business. I would ask that you give wayne a call and discuss it . I am sure he can build you one to your specific requirements.

I like the hinged rear tail-light flaps that reduce air pressure under the rear guards that all the "team" cars have.

it is a clever idea and I also like it , however the credit for this idea must go to Boris and the guys at Vintage as I saw it on their bug .
I just improved it slightly by taking a pic of an L-bug taillamp and printing it as a sticker to make it look more authentic

Hi all, well it is certanly a change not to have to build or rebuild something before a race meet, but i am all ready for eastern creek . tech inspection done yesterday and paperwork sent of for log book and udl licence. also fitted tyres and new wheels to car and i may be bias but they look good (sorry didnt take pics). really looking forward to catching up with people again, all of the team WPVW cars should put on a good show, looking forward to seeing waynes oval perform

Well What a great weekend... Heaps of cars , not many breakages , although unfortunately my team-mate Ben was one of them with some engine noises stopping him continuing. This was my first event with the car afer getting it all Tech inspected and i was over the moon with it .

Started the day with two qual. runs:
1st - 10.546@124.46 (60 ft 1.474)
2nd - 10.768@122.32 (60ft 1.512)

because i was under the time set by craig i elected to run in the top VW shootout not expecting any more than my three runs.

Heats (all with my 10.5 dial in)
1st - 11.485@89.79 (60ft 1.450) win
2nd - 10.537@122.8 (60ft 1.612)win
3rd - 12.129@88.4 (60ft 1.77) win

this put me into the final

11.107@95.49 (60ft 1.417) win

the car performed really well with no problems all weekend for the win in the final to take out the top VW shootout 2012.
I also Received the best engineered trophy.
I must thank all of our team for the weekend, we had a few cars at this meet and without there help it would be impossible to manage and compete the way we did . Big thanks to Wayne and Ben yet again. I had a great personal result but as a team we had great results also with wayne fastest vw powered , my car 2nd fastest vw powered,and everybody else all getting new PB's
I caught up with quite a few people that i can now put a face to their names and many of the usualls for a drink and a yarn. all in all a great turnout and i cant wait for Warwick. I dont have any photos yet i got my brother in law to take pics and as soon as i get them i will post pics and timesheets
