WTD: Rust repair cuts -1500 beetle onwards

As it says, need some repair panels for my 1300 standard beetle, parts from pretty much any 12 volt beetle will be close enough.

I'm near Taree NSW so obviously the closer to me the better, but let me know what youve got & where you are & we'll go from there. If your close enough, I may be able to come & do the cutting myself .

Before anyone starts with the "why bother", "start with something more solid" etc, the car in question holds a great deal of sentimental value so I'd like to keep it going if possible.

Here is an idea of the bits that I'm after.

front bonnet seal areas: not after the seal channel itself, just some solid metal that the seal is spot welded to.

Both rear c pillar areas down to where the engine lid is

right hand side guard mounting area

Left hand heater channel, but will probably end up buying a repro for this area.

eventually I may also be chasing a left hand rear quarter panel, mine has previously been replaced (poorly) and the alignment of the belt line, chrome trim & door opening is off a bit.

Let me know what you've got, or if you have any leads for me.

Send me a PM or reply here.

Cheers

Brendan

Still chasing a couple of C pillar areas (rear window to the drip rail).

I am sydney for the next couple of days if anyone has a '68 onwards beetle that they are cutting up, I will call around & have a look, I am bringing the grinder so can make the cuts myself if needed.

Cheers
