Pic Prob

So many times I see people stating that they can't load their pics on this forum, what's the problem as I have followed all sorts of advice given to resize etc but I can't get them to load, keep geting told that the pic is too large no matter what I do, not that long ago I just went to my album, clicked on the pic I wanted to upload and there it was, then suddenly it stoped working, hav'nt been able to get pics on since, I'm not the only one but has anyone else had the problem and been able to solve it. There must be a way as others seem to be able to load their pics, this is driving me kerazie

isnt it easiest to host your pisc on another free hosting site and just post the img link ?

thats what i always do, because i am part of multiple car forums etc this way i can use the same image and just link to it.

i use photobucket.com but there are heaps of them offering free signup and free image hosting. that way size is only an issue if it takes too long to load, the image looks like its added to the page you are working on but its hosted elsewhere meaning the size restriction isnt an issue :-D

So if I use photobucket I don't need to resize?(I have been resizing but still didn't work) the pic will still show here but it won't realy be here as it is realy just a link. Have I got that right? Is this what others do? In case you haven't noticed I am a computer illiterate, unless there's a level below iliterate. :dork:

What's 'illiterate'?

This!

No size limit when uploading. It'll resize it for you so you can use it on the forums and it's not too large.
