Stolen Triumph RS 955 From Wodonga

This was posted on Rats-s Cafe forum for people to post other places , that the culprits get caught!

Very "In your face" colour scheme.
Distinctive muffler. It's a "REMUS" sports pipe modified to fit the bike. No one else will have that pipe on a Triumph unless they did a refit too.
Bike is exactly as shown in photos (or it was when it left here). They were taken less than a month ago.

Engine# X159402
Vic Reg HY 637. Not that I reckon it will have that plate on it if you see it.

During the cover of darkness and while we were having a wet and windy night some scummy turd decided to sneak in and steal my bike outta the carport.
Also took 2 of the kids dirt bikes, pushed all 3 out the driveway and rolled em down the hill.
The kids bikes were both out of fuel and they couldn't get them to start so they got dumped on the side of the road.

No such luck with the RS. It had the key left in the ignition and would've started without a problem, so she is gone.
No insurance, cops arn't real interested and might get out later this evening if the local bloke can spare the time.

Have spent the last 6 hours making up posters and dropping them all around the local town and Wodonga which is 20 K away hoping that someone will spot it. Really trying to make it too hard to move and hoping they abandon it somewhere.
More concerned that it could become a liability to them and they dump it in the river or burn it. I'm ****ed if they do

Thanx for your time

Welcome Benny boy.

Good to see you found the best Oz Veedub place!

Also pleased you started with that post on stolen Triumph RS. Veedubs and Trumpys! We have a lot in common

That stolen bike has been posted nearly everywhere and I have seen it now on 5 sites! reckon they will get them for sure. live to ride have contacted owner of bike as well. So may even make mags and news if this is posted all over.
hope others who read this , post it on other forum to spread the word.

I am astounded at the response I've had so far trying to help, and the stuff you just did is wxactly the type of thing that I am trying to get done.

Different people think in different ways and approach the problem from a different angle.
I don't have a membership to the other forums you just posted it in, and that makes the net even larger.

I have got an add started in todays Border Mail (local rag) in the Motorcyles section under "STOLEN" and they also did an article on it in the front few pages as well.

Have emailed a write up and photos to the 2 local TV stations hoping they'll stick it on the news as well.

Had 2 calls this morning, 1 from a lady saying she passed it going towards Myrtleford at high speed late Tuesday morning and being closely followed by a grey 4x4 tray back.
She also claimed to have recognised the rider. All that info went on to the cops, but they still aren't doing jack shyt.

Have sent it on to everyone I know in my email accounts and they have forwarded it on again.
Was putting more posters out in town yesterday and all the bike shops already knew via email, so thats working

Still not confident of seeing it again, but I have made it pretty hard for them to move it too far.
