air correction


where do i get air correction jets for stock solex carbs need smaller ones around 80 to 100 ive got 142.5 main jet and its still running a little lean so want to go down a little in the air correction other wise im afraid ill wash the oil of the cylinders and increase wear

Washing the cylinders comes from the mixture being TOO RICH.
If you are that rich, you may want to use a change in the main jet(smaller),
or a few steps in the air correction jet.

I found that you can find quite a selection of jets from other models of VW carbs, from 36hp right through.
So which ever way you plan to change the mixtrues, you should be able to find the jets you need from those carbs.
