Rims - How wide can I go in NSW?
Hi
Has anyone worked out the maximum beetle rim width in NSW i.e. based on 25mm increase in track?
Note that I don't have any clearance issues.
If you have, what back space and width works?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Rel

It all depends on what year beetle you have
Have a read here
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi09_rev4.pdf
Then use the offset calculator to see what fits

What was the weight of a '68 beetle from the factory? My baja weighed in at 780kg so that would mean I am only allowed to fit a 6" rim and therefore
my 10" rears would be illegal.
68 Baja - It's a growing pain!
58 Baja ute - and the pain spreads!
85 T3 Kombi - still growing
89 T3 Kombi - parts car
