SA Norwood: Just Spotted!

Dunno if this car is on here or if anyone knows about it? Parked next to it. According to badges, it's a 1300, didn't get any photos from the front but I'm thinking something pre-72?

If it is anyones and they don't want their rego showing, I'll happily fix it accordingly.

Its a 72 beetle with a 1641 cc engine twin port, twin weber single throat carbies. New heads new counter balanced crank and the list goes on. Unc spent $5k on the engine alone. Has been painted for 2 or 3 years and new interior. Goes like a rocket. Won 2nd place 2011 and 1st place 2010 over 69 modified Day of the Volkswagen Tea-tree Gully and Golden Grove respectfully.

It is a crazy looking bug, interior is absolutely immaculate!
Was very jealous when I pulled up next to it.

I spotted it the day after, going into the Coles car park in Norwood too.
Obviously he lives close to the area, might have to go hunting down the back streets for her :)

YEP

I'll Vouch for the fact this this IS a fast car.

I remember driving spiritedly one morning on the way to work and looking in my mirror to my surprise was this same car.

Looks really nice in the flesh.

Great work.
