Dash cover under hood

I have been looking for a replacement cover for replacing the cardboard dash cover on my 69 bettle. I have searched classic but cant find one. i think they are fibreglass, not sure if i have the correct description

It is under the front hood and protects all the wiring and gauges etc and stops air blowing through the speaker grills etc. any help would be much appreciated

Yes Paul

the one model fits all Beetles excepting the 1303 L beetle...
You just need to cut it so it fits over the plastic airbox

I'm sure someone in Sydney would have them.... VVDS etc

From memory the 71-72 Sbug ones are slightly different due to the fuel tank being in the way, although all my Sbugs have had the cardboard trunk liner that covers the fuel tank and spare tyre which acts as the wiring cover.

Now that I think about it even my 70s 1300 pov paks were like that as well, the wiring cover was probably just a 68-70 thing originally.

A worthwhile addition to any flat screen beetle though.

Not much fun hooning around a corner at night and a spanner goes flying and hits the fuse box....Kabooom
