Stan pobjoy, very good engine builder. Call him to have one built.... That way you will get exactly what you want. Rod penrose also definatley has the
goods.

I know where a 2ltr running motor can be obtained for around a grand (maybe less) Is still in Kombi so would need to be removed. Sydney area BTW
Actually the whole Kombi is being broken up. Its the air cooled model Type 3
So will add details on separate subject when have them.

I ordered a motor 2 months but got stuffed around so now I am looking again! I did get a text message from a guy with a 1916cc engine but I have lost
his message. Any other leads or contacts would be greatly appreciated. Ideally I am looking for at least 140 - 150hp and up and am willing to pay for
what I am asking. Thanks Joe 0417195655

a basic 1916 will make only around 70hp at the wheels
you can make em up to 140ish but that takes a lot more work and some expertise also a lot more expense.

I have a 2080 that is in my Manx. It has less than 500k's since being built for sale at around $6000. Put it in the manx so it can be test driven as
a demonstrator for the builder. If that is in the budget let me know and I can give you full details of what makes it tick. I can even pass on the
details of the builder as his work is very well acclaimed.
