[FS - QLD] 1969 Beetle, Brisbane - SOLD!

Well I'm listing my Beetle here again, but have dropped the asking price by quite a bit. Hopefully she'll be within the budget of a potential buyer this time around. :)

She's in fair condition, but with other ongoing work I don't have the time to do a proper resto.

Every time I take her out for a drive I feel compelled to keep her - she's a lot of fun to drive - but I don't have anywhere for storage.

I plan to sell her unregistered and I'm asking $2800 (considerably less than my original asking price), but I'm very willing to negotiate as she needs a new home.

The front seats are from a Toyota (Supra I think) and there is an approved mod plate fitted. The original seat rails are still on the floor, so if you're lucky enough to find some they will slot straight in. I also have a stock steering wheel if that takes your fancy.

Several items have been replaced over the past 12-18 months with new items:
*the floor pan
*the carburettor and fuel pump
*the distributor, electronic points module and coil
*a new 55A alternator
*telescopic pushrod tubes
*parcel board
*all seat belts

I also have a few spares that might come in handy, such as new roof upholstery, window rubbers, etc. If you don't need the spares we'll be able to knock a few dollars off.

There is just a bit of work required to get a safety certificate, but as I mentioned I don't really have the time. So if you're after a short term project (or you're willing to do a full resto), PM me ASAP and I will give you my phone number.

Currently registered, so she's up for a test drive if you like. Although I'm selling unregistered, I can deliver her to your address if you're within 100km of Brisbane!

Seller's Name: Jamie
Telephone: 0438 971 079
Suburb: Jindalee, 4074
Asking: $2800 ono

Hey Jamie,

Well done son - excellent news. ;)
Did you get what you were after?
Sad it had to go though. :(
