[WTB - VIC] Early Beetle or Type 3 Wagon or Notch
Hey Lads
I am starting to look for an early beetle (67 or earlier) or an early type 3 wagon. Happy to pay reasonably for a good one. Needs to be registered or
very close to registrable. Not looking for a massive project.
My dream is: Rust free, og paint, og interior or restored close to og, go fast motor and good drive train.
Prefer Melbourne or at least Victoria and definitely sub $10k
Any help appreciated
Paul

Thanks for the words of encouragement mate - I see you have been on the forum for a long time.
I just missed a ripper 67 on ebay this week for $11k that more than met that criteria. So I am on the glass half full side.

I'd say it does,
something about if you got nothing nice to say dont say it.
Whats the point of those useless comments other than trying to wind people up.

thats the beauty of the written word. the context is often lost as what you are saying .you Could be being an ass or could be genuinely saying good
luck.i always prefer to give benefit of the doubt and think wagoon 69 was genuinely offering a glass half full kind of encouragement.

Thanks Craig - and yes having been chatting with Adam. Hopefully get out there today and have a look. Surprising the number of cars coming out of the
woodwork

good luck(genuine).

Plenty out there - I went to look at a few, including Empi's Notch, which is a ripper. But in the end decided to stick with my lowlight - as I
enjoyed driving it to look at the the other cars too much.
Still keeping an eye but more likely to be a project and not a replacement for the bus
Cheers
