Removing Quarter Window
Hey all!
I'm currently in the process of tidying up Zelda as you're probably all well aware.
I have though, come across something that is in dire need of repair and probably should have been done first as something small... I think it is a
small job anyway, I hope.
I need to replace the quarter window lock thingy?
This thing.
Any hints or tips to take it off? Or do I have to remove and replace the whole assembly?

Is there 2 rivets underneath? (that's what a type3 has) drill them out then
The whole thing slides out with a bit of persuading.

they may be a bit hard. I had to take the whole 1/4 window out. as it was all a bit rusted in.

There are definitely two rivets underneath...
I'll give my hand at getting them out, I have a full other quarter window if I do need to just replace the whole thing, but from what I can see there
is no issue with rust.
