Another bloody kiwi

Hi all,
I found this forum by accident the other day when one of the kiwi VW websites referenced a thread hear about someone building a maniac 3 litre motor and have been reading through the rest of the forums since.
I've owned about a dozen beetles through my life and I am currently working on three of them. My long-term resto is a 1963 beetle that is getting close to paint. I had to do a lot of rust repairs on it but I am getting better at that the more I do and it is looking pretty good. It has a 1600 twin port motor and a 1500 swing axle gearbox, and will be finished as a cal-looker. I am also driving a 1974 1500 beetle which looks a lot like a 1302 but is a swing-axle and is currently in primer grey. I will eventually repaint this, probably red, but for now I need to have at least one car driveable. The original 1500 motor had been rebuilt prior to me buying it but is blew a hole in one piston (loose inlet manifold) so I am rebuilding it as a 1600 motor which as almost finished. In the mean time I am running a 1300 in it and it goes just fine. The third car is a 1967 beetle which I am building into a road-legal baja. I am buiding a 1600 twin port for it and will fit a 1302 IRS gearbox which will require an IRS rear end to be built. The front is link-pin/king-pin and will have raised spindles if I can find them cheap enough. I will probably do a body lift as well to get clearance. I have already bought a one-piece front for it as well as some huge tyres but I'm holding off starting the build until I get the '63 out of the shed.

So far I've managed to get my avatar up and put a post with pictures so now all I need to figure out is how to show my signature in posts and how to subscribe to threads - there must be an option somewhere I haven't been yet :)

Thanks Barls, I found the subscribe button and I have editted my signature but it doesn;t show up, is there somewhere I need to toggle it on? Is there a default setting somewhere where you can automatically subscribe to any thread you post on or do you have to do it for every thread?
