Easiest way to upload pictures is to use imageshack.
Create a free account (takes two seconds) then find the 'direct link' and copy it into the page. It will look something like...
[img*]www.blahblahblah.com/picture[img/*]
(without the *'s]
once pasted into the forum reply area it will appear as an image when posted

It's nothing to do with the physical size, it's the resolution which affects the file size, they need to be less than 100kb
But as Ollie said above easiest way is to use a photo hosting site like photobucket or image shack, then they can also be viewed without having to log
in.

Good Point Joel - and with today's camera quality 100kb is absoultely tiny!
Maybe someone should sticky a step by step process of using a photo hosting site process?

Hi
I use AxiomX pic sizer a free app for bulk resizing and Microsoft Image Composer for individual photos. I've done instructions for Microsoft Image
Composer in a PDF format, I can email them if your interested.
If you put large size pictures in the online picture hosting sites, when you put a link in post on here they will still take long time to load.
