Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone knows of a decent panel beater for minor body works and a full body spray? I'm located in Melbourne northern suburbs
area.

thats a good question? I have wondered that myself.
Someone that does car restoration rather than smash repair. Seems like a dying art

My body is in being painted at the moment. I used to be a spray painter and I know a good panel beater and spraypainter when I see one. This guy used
to have his own shop but now works from home. He does a lot of old cars, mostly MGs for some reason. The only problem is he lives down toward Phillip
Island at Nyora so it's a bit of a trip.
The main reason I took my car to him is that I watched him file finish an guard that most panel beaters would have thrown in the bin and he's pretty
handy with the spray gun too, and that's coming from someone who used to do it. He does full restorations, concourse or whatever you want, and he
even takes you through the plan for treating the car for rust in the future. I'm looking at around a $6000 but that was already sand blasted and
etched. Probably expensive but I will never have to paint the car again in my lifetime.

thats bloody cheap mate, considering what you are getting.
I am going put aside at least 20-25k for the body/paint for mine latter on. If I don't spend it all, it can go else where in the car.
