WTB: 1600tp long motor for rebuild
Hey Guys (and Girls),
I'm helping my girlfriend do a bit of a rolling restoration on her '71 Super-bug and am looking for a 1600 twin port to rebuild for an engine
swap.
Doesn't need to be in running order as I'll be rebuilding anyway but don't want a boat anchor either.
I'm located in Wodonga but am willing to pick up from Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne etc for the right part... I'm originally from Adelaide and head
back semi-reguarly so might consider one from around there as well if right.
PM or post below if you have something that could help me out.
Cheers,
Stairs

ragged: I was looking to keep the cost to around 300 but may look at paying more if the right motor presents itself
SpLiTmEiStEr: I got your PM, thank you...Your motor looks about right... however, I'd really prefer to get one over this way and I don't really need
all the ancillaries (we already have all of them or plans to replace with new) but if I don't find another I'll let you know.
Cheers

Do you still need a motor, have an L Bug with a brand new motor in it, less than 1500kms, will part it out, let me know
