You could go the sealing wax red/chestnut brown two tone ala early split sambas! Whack on some fake whitewalls and lower it....voila'

Just my opinion though

Looks awesome dude. Don't give in :thumb
When I found the big piece of floor missing from my fasty I just wacked a later 'pan and running gear under it. The only thing to remember with that is to make some engine hangers for the engine bay and/or convert your swingaxle subframe to IRS (which I've done before)

Keep us posted dude. As for theme... *thinks* I say go the resto/Euro look. Standard-ish colours, trim, etc... modern seats (picked carefully to suit the era) coupled with sporty running gear and wheels.
I've always said that if I get a square the Audi RS4 would be my wagon choice of inspiration (aside from the understeer)

Later!

Kafer... I DONT THINK SO! :o:o:o
Cam, i'm goin for that resto custom look.
We are looking at VW Red.
Black interior, sprintstars and a few other custom mods.
I'll be fitting a few acc too, Type 3 console with tacho, reverse lights and Spotties.
(only need the Tach)
Its all good fun...
We want to stay swing axel so i might have to rob some halves out of something later...
more pics to follow!
