Not 100% sure thats what they're called but I'm after the plates that you bolt into the mounting bracket of the boot-lid to raise it up for more airflow

Im in paddington, sydney. Will happily pick up or pay for postage, please PM or call 0431307561

cheers
Povi

"Standoffs" is the generic what you are after

Contact VWcool
He sells "hood jax"
Do a search - it is his version of an easily removable style

Boot is on the front where You put luggage....
engine lid or cover is on the rear.. on beetles

the alloy bolt on engine lid standoffs are available at all VW shops and aren't expensive...

The "hood jacks" are a much better idea if You want to close the lid at times....
You can fit 2 dipsticks to it and put it back to normal in 10 seconds true...

Hi Povi,

I am certain, that I have a spare set of Hoodjax.
They are in very shape, due to being in the shed for well over 10 years.
Lee is spot on, they're very to use, specially on a '73 Superbug, IE: the short boot lid.

You can have them for say, $20.00.
