1641 Questions
Hi all im building a 1641. The bottom end is already put together. Its got a counter W Crank, matched connrods and a Scatt C25 Cam im just wondering
if i should put some new up rated springs on the valves or leave as standard. Also what would make a good combo for the rockers, ie 1.25 or just
leave as standard. It will also have some mild ported twin port heads.
thanks for reading hope you can help

That should rev significantly higher than stock, assuming you're putting some decent carbies on, so I'd go with some uprated single springs and
retainers and bolt up rocker shafts.
Personally I'd stick with standard rockers too.

No noises, but will it see 100 000km reliably?
The heavier springs are because the engine can accelerate quicker, has a higher rate of change.
