Hi there.
G'day everyone,
joined up because the wife and I like VW's. I the past we have had '72 Superbug, '70 1500 Beetle, '75 1.8 Microbus and '75 L Bug. At the moment
we have a Series 5 Golf Gti.
Possibly after Christmas 2011 we are going to look for another 60's/70s Bug, I'm doing F/time at TAFE at the moment so money's tight. The thing I
miss - I'm a fitter and turner by trade - is getting my fingers dirty looking after our old Vws. They were all we could afford back then and they
needed work, but they were fun!. The next Beetle we get will be for weekend cruises with our daughter who also likes old cars.
I might hover in the forums a bit till we get our new wheels, hope you don't mind, there appears to be a lot of knowledge in the forums and it all
helps.
Cheers, Rob.

Welcome rob to the forum, there are lots of vw's for sale on here all the time so when you are ready I am sure you will find one to suit your
needs.
Look forward to seeing your progress once you have a vw to play with

I've seen a few good ones, however I need complete my TAFE course first, that finishes in Dec 2011, then when I get back to work I'll be looking for
sure.
We want a bug that is 12 volt, driveable and registerable, so we'll see what's around at that time.
In the meantime I'll just have to be patient and put up with the Gti.
Cheers, Rob.
