I love my ZF. Test 1. wet road and Porsche 997.

I drove the beetle to work this morning. It's going really well. In fact the bog stock ignition seems better than the MSD (well it did die on me).

A dark grey Porsche 997 was darting through the traffic and giving the car a bit of a boot-full at each set of lights. I followed at a distance. Then
the traffic parted and I ended up next to him at the traffic lights in my similarly coloured '56. It was pissing down.

The lights went green and I gently left then put my boot into it after about 5 meters and he followed. The oval gave a slight squirm on the way to
about 7200 rpm. Then into second, another slight squirm and I was a tad ahead of the Porsche. My foot as flat to the floor. Buried. Then we were neck
and neck. Into third and his nose was at the drivers door. We were doing about 130 kmph and we backed off. I looked over and he was looking at me and
grinning like a fool.

What fun. I couldn't believe the grip.

I'm sold. The ZF LSD was a good investment. Now, when is the next track day.

Love it. Nothing better than being able to make people wonder about what's under the shell of the bug.

Awesome when you tell them that it's still aircooled.

Stidub. Don't you know all roads in sydney are no speed limit as long as there are no cops around!

I am impressed that during peak 130kms was reached but hey I love it as I know I would do the same given the chance.

It'd be that traffic light in the middle of the M4 or M5 or wherever it was.

Has to be... after all I know CT, and no way he'd be speeding. I also know that his speedo is out slightly, so his "about 130" would've been bang
on 110.

Thing I love with my ZF is hooking a 180 deg turn at a decent clip around a large-ish off-camber roundabout near my place... the amount of traction
and ability to put the foot down coming out is just amazing, even compared to the Quaife.

It was in the Northern Territory.

But my normal work day has me at Silverwater around 7am. That's before the heavy traffic (for the doubters).

I'm planning to drive the car to Warwick in a few weeks to see if the IDAs effect my hearing or sanity.
