F/S T3 Engine conversion with 5 Speed box

I am selling a complete 2.0 Golf MKIII engine conversion incuding 5 speed box for a T3 Transporter. It is based on all VW parts from the T3 Diesel
vans, so it sits on an angle and hence fits straight under the engine lid. I have utilized all VW parts like bell housing, sump, engine mounts and
carriers etc.
The engine is a perfect match to the van since it has very similar specs to the original water boxer units but goes so much better and is very
reliable. The last conversion I had was a 2.2 suby engine in a T3 and I find this one so much better to drive and much better on fuel. I have done
about 4 interstate trips in this van and cruises on 110kph with ease and have not had 1 issue with it.
The setup is currently in my 1991 van and hence can be fully road tested. Installtion is a breeze just drop yours out and install the whole setup, ezy
peezy....
This particular engine has done about 95.000kms and has just had the timing belt replaced
Price: $2900 complete or $2000 minus gearbox (way below cost !) Would cost over $4000 plus labour to do this conversion.....
Note: to make this work in a syncro T3 you need to buy an engine adapter and flywheel (syncro) from Sherman at the Gold Coast. He has made one of
those before so he has a sample and can make you one without fuss.
Just to avoid any confusion - The engine is a petrol engine -
I bought this van already converted by a guy down here in SA, who has done a few of these conversion. A very neat job. Im only selling this setup to
put in a more powerful engine as I will be doing alot of heavy towing.

Would this be a viable option to install into an air-cooled T2 Kombi after radiator installation etc..?
How do the torque specs compare to a WBX 2.1..?
Looking for a torquey motor conversion for a splittie..

Not sure about the bellhousing to an earlier gearbox. You would have to look into that or use an adaptor plate instead. I find this engine just as
torquey but revs so much better.
