Mate good luck.
Anyone who has one will want plenty for it.
Be better off buying a complete car.
Cant just get yours rebuilt?
That could cost just as much as a complete cheaper Syncro.
I only know one person who has a spare and he wont part with it.
Where are you?
I could recomend a few Syncro gear box specialsts.

i,m in adelaide! gearbox is in car and i,m stilli using car but it needs rebuild i was putting out feelers to see if i could get one to rebuild while still driving my car

i've got a brand new ring n pinion genuine VW, if you are interested. alot of parts are now deleted stock. Albins can supply gears, some bearings are standard, some are not.

I know of two Syncro gb experts.
Ron Schmit-Kempsey NSW mid north coast or
Rudi-Bribrie Island Qld.
These are the two that are recomended by most Syncro owners.
