How do I lower my 74 bus

Hi guy’s
I’m new to the this world of veedubbing and want to know what’s the easiest and safest way to lower a 74 bus apart form spending hundreds of dollars at one of the VW specialists. What’s a sensible lowered ride height? Or is there any tech articles you guys can point me to.
Thanks

There are ways that you can lower your bus for nothing, but they arnt the best and can be unsafe. The best way to lower it would be geting adjusters welded into your front beam. You dont need anything to lower the rear. If you want to do it for as cheap as posible, remove the front beam your self and take it to someone to get adjusters, It will cost you alot more if they have to remove it for you. When doing any work on the front end a good workshop manual will make things alot easier.:)
